Alexandra Woods

Alex is originally from North Berwick, on the east coast of Scotland, but moved to Yorkshire in 2017 and to Whitby in September 2023. Since moving to Yorkshire she has never looked back!

Having worked in a mixture of NHS and private practices in Scotland and England covering full scope of practice, Alex is great at managing patients needs. She has a wealth of experience with patients with special needs, complex medical histories and complex treatment
requirements, as such she is confident at providence care in a multidisciplinary environment.

Alex particularly enjoys restorative work and providing care to children. She really aims to make sure every patient’s experience is a positive one, especially those with dental anxiety, her calming approach to dental care puts everyone at ease. Alex also provides care to children under Inhalation Sedation.

Outside of work, Alex is a very active person and loves nothing more than riding her horse and walking the dogs on the beach. If time permits she also loves to book trips away skiing.
